The Franck Muller Watch Country SA, headquartered in Genthod is a Swiss watch manufacturer. In addition to the same brand the company also includes the brand Pierre Kunz, European Company Watch ( ECW) and Rodolphe and suppliers GecoH SA, Pignon Juracie SA and Neo SA (components), F. Arnold Lidner SA ( dials ) and the Franck Muller Techno Cases SA (housing and encapsulation of movements ). Franck Muller Watch country positioned in the luxury segment. The annual production amounts to some 50,000 pieces, part comes from our own factory. The company employs about 500 people and generated 2006 sales of 250 million Swiss francs.

History

The company was founded in 1991 by the Geneva-based watchmaker and designer Francesco " Franck " Muller and Vartan Sirmakes, a gem-setters of Armenian descent. The watches manufactured by them were distinguished by their tonneau shape and the large, curved digits in Art Nouveau style. Facilities located in the luxury segment watches were within ten years a bestseller. At its peak, the company generated in 2002 with an annual production of around 50,000 pieces a turnover of 400 million Swiss francs.

Because the question of the future strategic direction it came in 2003 between the company's founders to significant disagreements. Muller here lost his influence, but remained in half stake in the company. As a result, the company in 2005 acquired another brand under the leadership of Vartan Sirmakes.
