Zuculini (2009)

Franco Zuculini ( born September 5, 1990 in La Rioja) is an Argentine football player with an Italian passport. Preferably, it is used in the central or right midfield.

Career

Association

Zuculini played in youth with Racing Club - where he began his professional career in 2008. His professional debut came on 13 April 2008. Subsequently he developed on the central midfield position for regular players and excited on the European football market attention.

Since the 2009/10 season Zuculini plays for TSG 1899 Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga. He exchanged for 4.6 million euro transfer fee to TSG. His debut in the Bundesliga was the midfielder on Matchday 5, 3-0 win over VfL Bochum. This coach Ralf Rangnick joined him in the 84th minute for Demba Ba. On 24 October 2009, the Argentine scored his first Bundesliga goal when he took care of the scoring in the 3-0 against 1 FC Nuremberg.

For the 2010/11 season Hoffenheim Zuculini awarded to Genoa in the Italian Serie A.

In February 2011, the TSG 1899 Hoffenheim Zuculini 2010/11 awarded to his home to Racing Club until the end of the season.

In August 2011 Zuculini was borrowed for the 2011/12 season at Real Zaragoza. The current actually until 30 June 2014 contract Hoffenheim with Zuculini was disbanded in May 2012 by mutual agreement. He was then firmly committed to Real Zaragoza.

After Zuculini was without a club since mid-August, 2013, he returned in mid January 2014 back to his home to Arsenal de Sarandi.

National

Zuculini took part in 2007 with the Argentine U-17 national team at the Campeonato Sudamericano Sub-17 and took it to third place, which was enough to qualify for the U -17 World Cup 2007 in South Korea at the same time. In the finals he came in four of the five games of Argentina used three times he was in the starting. The Argentine team ultimately failed in the quarterfinals at the eventual champions Nigeria. His younger brother Bruno ( * 1993) is also a professional footballer and is currently on the Racing Club under contract.
