François Gabart

François Gabart ( born March 23, 1983 in Saint- Michel ( Charente), France ) is a French sailor and professional skipper.

On January 27, 2013 he won the Vendée Globe 2012-2013, with a new record for a nonstop solo circumnavigation of the world as a solo sailor in the sail boat, in 78 days, 2 hours, 16 minutes and 40 seconds.
