François Laurent

François Laurent ( born July 8, 1810 in Luxembourg, † February 11, 1887 in Ghent ) was a Luxembourgian jurist and historian.

Laurent studied at the universities of Leuven and Liege 's rights, was 1832-34 Bar in his native city, and received in 1835 the professor of civil law at the University of Ghent, where he died on 11 February 1887.
