Françoise Adnet

Françoise Adnet ( born July 17, 1924 in Paris ) is a French pianist and painter.

Life

Françoise Adnet is the daughter of the architect and decorator Jacques Adnet ( 1900-1984 ). She was at the age of four years of piano lessons and made his debut as a 12 -year-old at a recital in Berlin. Later Adnet studied at the École Normale de Musique, among professors Marguerite Long and Alfred Cortot. As a concert pianist, she stood on several stages throughout Europe.

In the 1970s, Françoise Adnet goodbye to the concert stage and devoted herself entirely to her passion of painting. Her works are presented in New York City, Palm Beach, Toronto, Venice, Chicago, Caracas, Geneva, Osaka and in Tunis. Françoise Adnet is married to the gallery owner and art collector Max Fourny; and founder of the Musée d'Art Naif in the Parisian district of Montmartre.
