Françoise Macchi
Françoise Macchi ( born July 12, 1951 in Le Sentier, Switzerland ) is a former French alpine skier. She is married to the former alpine skier Jean -Noël Augert and is the aunt of Jean -Pierre Vidal.
Françoise Macchi could win races in all that time discharged single disciplines of the world cup. So she won twice each in the downhill and slalom, and six times in the giant slalom.
In the season 1969/70 they won the first place in the Giant Slalom World Cup. In the same discipline she won the bronze medal at the 1970 World Cup in Val Gardena. Also in 1970 she became French champion in giant slalom.
