Françoise Prévost

Françoise Prévost (* about 1680 probably in Paris, † 1741 in Paris) was a French dancer and prima ballerina

In 1699 she made her debut in Jean -Baptiste Lully's ballet " Atys " at the Paris Opera. Over 30 years it was regarded as the first Prima Ballerina of their country. Her style was one of extraordinary grace, ease and expressiveness. Your preferred partner was Jean Balon. They also gave classes at the Académie royale de danse. In 1730 she retired from the stage.
