Frank Catalano

Frank Catalano ( born 1977 ) is an American jazz saxophonist.

Life and work

Catalano began with eight years playing the saxophone and studied at DePaul University. Then he played with Louis Bellson and 1995 with Charles Earland. Already at the age of 19 he recorded his debut album, Cut It Out, in which Willie Pickens and participated as a guest (on two tracks ) Ira Sullivan and this is published by Delmark Records in 1998. Throughout his career, he also worked with Tony Bennett, Clark Terry, Johnny Hammond Smith, Kenny Loggins, Jimmy McGriff, Randy Brecker and Arturo Sandoval.
