Frank Dietrich (politician)

Frank Dietrich ( May 3, 1966 in Wilhelm- Pieck -Stadt Guben; † 24 July 2011) was a German politician ( CDU). He was a member of the 10th People's Chamber and the 1st Brandenburg Landtag.

Life

After attending the Polytechnic High School Dietrich made ​​from 1982 to 1984 an apprenticeship as an electrician and then worked as a shift electrician in chemical fiber factory Guben to 1990. From 1988 to 1989 he did his military service. From 1994 until his death he worked in the municipality Schenkendöbern.

Policy

Since 1984, Dietrich was a member of the CDU. From March to October 1990, he was a member of the 10th People's Chamber of the GDR. Subsequently, he was elected for the constituency Guben Forest I in the Brandenburg state parliament. He was a member of the Committee on Education, Youth and Sport and Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Petitions. From 1992 until his retirement from parliament in 1994, he was also a deputy member of the Legal Committee. From May 1990 to December 1991 Dietrich was honorary mayor in Kerkwitz. 1991/92 he was state chairman of the Junge Union Brandenburg.
