Frank Kramer (footballer born 1972)

Frank Kramer ( May 3, 1972 in Memmingen ) is a German football coach and former football player.

Career

In his playing days as a football player Kramer joined in 1993 by his hometown club FC Memmingen for amateur team of FC Bayern Munich, for which he at the 1:2 away defeat in the 2nd round in 1993/94 against SV Darmstadt 98 to an intervention in the DFB Cup came. In January 1995, Kramer joined the TSV Vestenbergsgreuth. In 1996 he moved to SC Weismain. Three years later, Kramer went to the amateurs of the 1st FC Nuremberg. In 2001 he moved to SpVgg Greuther Fürth. A year later, he was active in the first SC Feucht.

From February to June 2004 and May to June 2005 he was player-coach of the second team of Greuther Fürth. Then Kramer took over the office of the U-19 coach of Fuerth. In 2009 he was again coach the second team of Fürth. Two years later, he became the coach of the second team TSG 1899 Hoffenheim. In April 2012, Kramer was admitted after passing the qualifying examination for the DFB Football Trainer training course 2012/13. Kramer has completed this course as valedictorian.

On 3 December 2012, he took over as interim succeed Markus Babbel as head coach of TSG 1899 Hoffenheim. In the remaining two games until the end of the first half of the season 2012/13 the residue of TSG Hoffenheim grew on the non-relegation places in the Premier League under Frank Kramer by a 0-2 away defeat at Hamburger SV and a 1-3 home defeat against Borussia Dortmund to seven points. He then returned to his position as coach of the second team of Hoffenheim.

On March 12, 2013 Kramer took the stand on the bottom of the table Erstligaelf SpVgg Greuther Fürth. He signed a contract with a term until 30 June 2015.
