Frank Wörndl

Frank Wörndl ( born June 28, 1959 in Sonthofen ) is a former German ski racer.

Life

In his career Wörndl win a single World Cup race. But 1987 in Crans- Montana, he became world champion in slalom. In the 1988 Olympics he was able to continue the success, he won silver in the slalom in Calgary.

Between 1979 and 1985 Wörndl won five German championships, including four in slalom and giant slalom.

After his career was Frank Wörndl television commentator on ZDF and Euro Sport.

Since 2007 he has directed the gym Get Fit in Sonthofen.

Since 2011 Frank Wörndl starts in his second passion, the music, full through. His apres ski hit " Let's go - Skiing is a passion " since winter 2011 successfully on the market.
