Franke Previte

Franke Previte is an American singer, composer, songwriter and music producer from New Brunswick, New Jersey.

He founded in 1980 the band Franke & The Knockouts, who had a top 10 hit in the U.S. with "Sweetheart" in 1981.

1988 received Previte as co- composer of the song " ( I've Had ) The Time of My Life " for the soundtrack to the film Dirty Dancing an Oscar and a Golden Globe. Another well-known film song, " Hungry Eyes", also his work and was originally a demo song for his own band.

As a music producer Previte has worked for Fleetwood Mac and Cyndi Lauper.
