Frankenstein's Aunt
Frankenstein's Aunt is the heroine of three books and a seven-part television series based on the first novel by Allan Rune Pettersson.
The story is a humorous twist on the classic Frankenstein substance with also some profound points.
In 1978, under the Swedish original title Frankenstein's faster ( in German: Frankenstein's aunt), the first book by Allan Rune Petterson. The story is about Hanna Frankenstein, the aunt of the Barons, who comes to Frankenstein, trying to bring the chaos that prevails on the basis of the experiments of her nephew at the castle, in order. She also applies to the strange inhabitants of the castle, among other things, are the next Frankenstein's monster, Count Dracula and the werewolf Larry Talbot.
At the later television series is mentioned in the title header, that the film based on this novel. For the series, the story was changed but relatively strong. In 1989 appeared under the Swedish original title Frankenstein's faster - strength! (in German: " Frankenstein's Aunt - back " ) the second book by Allan Rune Petterson. It is a direct continuation of his first book and therefore does not attack the history of TV Series on. The plot this time revolves around Franklin (named after Benjamin Franklin ), a child who was created by Dr. Frankenstein with the help of Dr. Pretorius for the monster and his bride in the same artificial way. This proves to be just as inventive as its namesake, which leads to conflicts with the village population. The book has not been published in German, but eg also in English under the title Frankenstein 's Aunt Returns.
