František Flos

František Flos ( pseudonyms - Brabec, F. Konopka, Filip Kos, Pěnkava, Rorejs, F. Strnad and F. Vrabec ) ( born July 27, 1864 in Přelouč; † January 8, 1961 in Prague) was a Czech teacher, playwright, translator and writer. He was representative of realism.

Curriculum vitae

He initially worked as a teacher, later he was a school inspector. For most of his life he lived in Týnec nad Labem and Prague. With the letter he began relatively late, at about 1900.

Works

He became famous as a writer of adventure books for young people. He wrote figuratively and in his stories were marked with teachings that should have a positive effect on youth. He was held together with Eduard Štorch for the founders of the Czech adventure literature for youth.
