František Laurinec

František Laurinec ( born August 19, 1951 in Veľké Uherce, Czechoslovakia) is a Slovak football official.

As a player František Laurinec only for the youth teams of his Czechoslovakian homeland association ŠK Veľké Uherce and FK Iskra Partizánske was active.

However, the Slovak decided against another footballer career and studied law at the Comenius University in Bratislava. He has the so-called small doctoral degree JUDr. as well as the degree CSc. Laurinec runs his own law firm.

Career as a functionary

From 1989 to 1993 František Laurinec worked at the Czechoslovak Football Association Československý fotbalový svaz and thereafter until 1998 as Vice President of the Slovak Football Association Slovenský futbalový zväz. From 1999 to 2010 he was president of this association. Since 2009 he is a member of the UEFA Executive Committee. Within the UEFA He is also currently Chairman of the Commission on the Status and Transfer of Players, as well as for players and match agent, deputy chairman of the Committee for Legal Affairs and advisor to the Commission for stadiums and security. Previously Laurinec was already a member and chairman in numerous other committees.
