František Václav Míča

Frantisek Vaclav Míča ( born September 5, 1694 Trebitsch, † February 15, 1744 in Jarmeritz ) was a Czech composer.

The uncle of František Adam Míča worked since 1722 as Kapellmeister in Jarmeritz.

In addition to five operas ( including O původu Jaroměřic from 1730 ), partly on Czech libretti, and cantatas he composed the Sepolcro - an early form of the oratorio - Abgesungene Reflections on etwelche secret of nuts büttern Leyden and death of Jesus Khristij.
