Franz Andrysek
Franz Andrysek ( born February 8, 1906 in Vienna, † February 9, 1981 ) was an Austrian weightlifter.
Life
He grew up as the oldest child of a large family to Vienna and began fourteen years ago with the weight lifting; soon he had his first success in the youth field. He was sent at age 18 to the Olympic Games in Paris. He was defeated in beidarmigen pushing the pentathlon three times, so that he remained unplaziert. In 1928 he was back in the Austrian Olympic team. He practiced his sport from to 1934. In his career he had to take a longer time and again to injury or illness breaks in training, with a negative impact on its performance. After the end of his career he worked as a clerk and janitor.
