Franz Obermayr

Upper Franz Mayr ( born May 25, 1952 in Linz) is an Austrian politician of the Austrian Freedom Party.

Life

Upper Mayr was born in 1952 in Linz. After leaving school, he was active in politics and a member of the Freedom Party of Austria. Since the 2009 elections, he is member of the European Parliament. There he demanded, among other things, a worsening of the European asylum policy. Since November 2012, he is Chairman of the European Alliance for Freedom.

Since 1981 he has been a member of the Corps Franconia Brno to Salzburg and Vienna to Linz Alemannia and belongs to the Corps Germania Munich.
