Franziska Konitz

Franziska Konitz (* November 24, 1986 in Berlin ) is a German judoka.

She is since 2007 members of the federal police sports school Kienbaum, the top sports conveyor of the Federal Police for summer and year-round sports.

Life

Konitz began at the age of five years with the judo sport. After the 6th grade, she moved to a sports school. As a teenager she was still struggling in the class up to 78 kg and then try to change Active in the German Judo Federation in the heavyweight class and the Open category.

Achievements

Konitz was three times European Champion in classes U17 (2002 ) U20 (2004 and 2005). In addition, it was in the age group U 20 World runner-up in 2004. Judo at the 2008 European Championships and at the Judo European Championships in 2009 in Tbilisi, she won bronze medals. In the World Judo Championships 2009, she was ranked fifth Konitz was 5 times German champion in its class (2003 in Leipzig, 2010 and 2009 and 2008 in Bayreuth, 2007 in Neuhof ).
