Fred Walker (footballer)

Fred Walker ( * in Barrow-in -Furness, Lancashire ) was an English football player and player-coach, who played for Leeds City and Huddersfield Town. He came mainly in the defense used. In Huddersfield, he held 1908-1910 two years the Office of the players coach. To date, Walker is thus the only player coach in the history of Huddersfield.
