Fred Williamson

Fred Williamson ( born March 5, 1938 in Gary, Indiana, USA) is an American actor, director and former football player.

Williamson began a career as a football player in the 1950s at Northwestern University. In 1960, he played professionally for the Pittsburgh Steelers in the National Football League ( NFL). A year later he moved to the new American Football League ( AFL), where he played for the Oakland Raiders and the Kansas City Chiefs. In the years 1961, 1962 and 1963 he was a member of the AFL All-Star team.

He began his acting career in the late 1960s on American television with guest roles in various series. In 1970 he made ​​his first appearance as an actor in the film M * A * S * H. It was followed by many major and minor roles in film and television. In the 1980s, Williamson took over often roles in Italian films. Williamson was from 13 to 15 April 2012 Low Kane Hodder Special Guest at the Shock Stock convention in London, Ontario and was with Claudio Simonetti and his band Goblin on stage.

Since the mid 1970s, Williamson worked as a director and producer on TV.
