Frédéric Pierrot

Frédéric Pierrot ( born September 17, 1960 in Boulogne- Billancourt, France) is a French actor.

Biography

Frédéric Pierrot studied mathematics in the United States when he discovered his interest in acting. He abandoned his studies, returned to France and played in several short films before he made his debut in the 1989 published and directed by Bertrand Tavernier war drama The Life and nothing else on the side of Philippe Noiret and Sabine Azéma on the canvas. Since then he has played various television and film roles, including in one swallow makes the summer (2001), So many years I Love You ( 2008) and Sarah's Key (2010). For his performance in the drama Poliss he has been nominated for the award of the French César Film Awards in 2012 for Best Supporting Actor.
