Frédéric Vervisch

Frédéric Vervisch ( born August 10, 1986 in Roeselare ) is a Belgian racing driver. In 2008 he won the championship title in the German Formula 3 Cup and the Asian Formula 3

Career

Vervisch began his motorsport career in 1998 in karting, where he was active until 2005. Besides, he was already in 2003 his debut in Formula racing when he took part in a race of the French Formula 3 Cup. In 2004 he played the entire season in this series and was runner-up. In 2005 he moved to the World Series by Renault, in which he took in four race weekends for GD Racing. He did not score and finished the season 30th overall. In 2006 he raced in the Formula Renault Northern European and finished ninth overall. He also began 2.0 Euro Cup in four races of the Formula Renault.

2007 moved Vervisch in the German Formula 3 Cup. He won four races and was runner-up behind Carlo van Dam. He also appeared in the case of two race weekends of the World Series by Renault. He took another no points in this series and was again 30th in the overall standings. After he won the championship title in the winter of the Asian Formula 3, Vervisch then also secured the championship title of the German Formula 3 Cup, in which he won the 2008 seven races, five of them in a row. He also appeared as a guest driver in the case of two races of the Formula 3 Euro Series. In 2009 he moved to North America and took part in the Atlantic Championship. The Belgian stood at five races on the podium, finishing end of the season fourth overall.
