Frederick H. Evans

Frederick Henry Evans ( born June 26, 1853 in London, † June 24, 1943 in London) was a British photographer.

Life

Arrived in London to the world in 1853 operating Evans, after a stint as a bank clerk, in the 1880s, there a bookstore. During this time, his first contact with photography was in the form of micrographs.

Evans worked primarily as an architectural photographer and is considered a masterpiece of the platinum pressure. In 1890 he published photos of English churches, in 1896, he photographed churches in France. Also a series on French castles belonging to his work. A selection of photographs of Evans ' was introduced in 1903 in the Camera Work No. 4 with accompanying texts by George Bernard Shaw.
