Friedrich Erhard Niedt

Friedrich Erhard Niedt ( baptized May 31, 1674 in Jena, † 1717 in Copenhagen ) was a German jurist, music theorist and composer.

Niedt was in 1694 enrolled at the University of Jena. He worked there after graduation as a notary. Around 1700 he went to Copenhagen via Hamburg.
