Fritz Hollaus

Friedrich " Fritz" Hollaus ( born October 21, 1929 in Vienna, † February 1994 ) was an Austrian football player. The striker scored in the dress of Club Atlético de Madrid 's first goal of an Austrian in the Spanish Primera División.

Friedrich Hollaus began his career with his hometown club SC Rapid Oberlaa. The Oberlaaern who played at that time in the highest Austrian league, he came for the first time in the season 1948/49, the first team to use, but experienced only one years later, the descent into the second division. However, Friedrich Hollaus joined the Wiener Sport - Club and was thus obtain the first division. Hardly the striker had played in the first team, the sport club was relegated to the B- League. Fritz Hollaus secured the mandrel Bachern with 31 goals in the B league season 1952/53, not only the chances of promotion but himself the title of the scorer. After another year in the A- League with the sports club Friedrich Hollaus joined the team FC Stadlau. A total of three seasons he was able to keep up with the small club of Transdanubia in the A- League, in his best season 1955/56, get the striker 19 goals in 25 games.

Friedrich Hollaus was buried on 22 February 1994 on the Inzersdorfer cemetery.
