Fritz Oliven

Fritz olives ( born May 10, 1874 in Breslau, † 30 June 1956 in Porto Alegre, Brazil ) was a German jurist and writer.

Under the pseudonym Rideamus (Latin for " Let us laugh !") Was living in Berlin, Jewish lawyer a success writer. His humorous books reached the maximum requirements. As a poet, librettist and poet Revue, he worked with Oscar Straus, Walter Kollo and Eduard Künneke and wrote the lyrics for the great Haller revues. Many songs from his pen were interpreted by Marlene Dietrich. He wrote, among other things, the operetta The Merry Nibelungs, The Cousin from Nowhere and the Revue yet and still.
