Front Morges

The front of Morges was on February 16, 1936 Morges, Switzerland ( canton of Vaud ) completed democratic political agreement leading Polish politician with the aim of overthrowing the Sanacja rule.

Host and initiator of the alliance was Ignacy Jan Paderewski. It supported the later exiled General Władysław Sikorski Prime Minister, his army colleague Józef Haller, the leader of PSL Piast ( Peasant Party ) Wincenty Witos and the Upper Silesian politician Wojciech Korfanty.

A year later, the Christian Democratic Party ( Polskie Stronnictwo Chrześcijańskiej Demokracji ) joined with the National Workers Party ( Polish National partia Robotnicza ) for the Labour Party ( Stronnictwo Pracy ).
