Front Populaire (Paris Métro)

Popular Front is a station of the metro network in the French capital Paris, on the border between the municipalities of Saint Denis and Aubervilliers in the department of Seine- Saint- Denis.

History

The extension of the metro line 12 to station Popular Front is the first section of the proposed extension to Mairie d' Aubervilliers. The plans for this extension began in 2000, in October 2007, started the construction work. In the original plans the station nor the name of Proudhon Gardinoux wore. The commissioning took place on December 18, 2012.
