Fronteira (Minas Gerais)
The fronteira 1943 community raised lies in the west of the Brazilian state of Minas Gerais. In 2007, the population was 13,983 in an area of 200 km ².
Fronteira lies west of the Triângulo Mineiro, at Trans-Brazilian Highway highway - Br -153 at an altitude of 458 m. The Rio Grande, a tributary of the Paraná is dammed by the Marimbondo dam to generate electricity and is the southern boundary of the municipality.
