Fryderyk Józef Moszyński

Fryderyk Józef Moszynski (also: Frederick Joseph Moszynski ) ( born March 14, 1738 in Dresden, † January 21, 1817 in Kiev ) was a Szlachcic ( nobleman ). He was a statesman in Poland - Lithuania.

Life

He was the son of Jan Kanty Moszynski who was with Alexandra Friederike von Cosel (1709-1784), the daughter of the Polish king August the Strong, married. Frederick Joseph was educated in Saxony. At the age of 16 years, on 16 November 1754 he was a colonel in the royal army, and received from his uncle Stanisław August Poniatowski, a Starosta of Wobolnik / Vabalninkas ( starosta wobolnicki ) in Lithuania. 28 May 1766 to 1778 he was a member of the Committee on the revenue of the crown. Since 1768 the vice- commander of the SzkoĹ Rycerska, a cadet school and also donated some of its products to these. He also commanded a general and Polish troops in 1768. In 1773 he was Reverend of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, then Secretary of State of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. In 1792 he participated in the confederation of Targowica that ended in the second partition of Poland. In 1793 he was a member of the Commission for the Investigation of a banking crisis in the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, and a member of the Permanent Council. From 1793-1795 he was Marshal of the Crown. In the Warsaw Uprising of 1794, he was imprisoned during the Kościuszko Uprising of Polish revolutionaries. When the prison was stormed on 28 June 1794 saved him Ignacy Zakrzewski Wyssogota before the lynching.
