FS1 (Salzburg)

FS1 (or FS1 - Free TV Salzburg) is a non-commercial television station in Salzburg ( Austria ) and next to the Vienna Community TV October and village in Linz, the third non-commercial broadcaster with a 24 hour full program in Austria.

After multiple delays of the launch FS1 since 16 February 2012 on DVB -C in many areas of the province of Salzburg receivable.

Organization

Wearer and editor of the transmitter is a non-profit community TV Salzburg BetriebsgesmbH. Shareholders are an association of the program creators, Radio Free Radio Factory, the Institute for Media Education, the umbrella organization of Salzburg's cultural sites and individuals.

Through participation of producers in the ownership structure of FS1, the transmitter can be considered the first democratic television in Austria.

FS1 is a member of the umbrella organization Salzburg cultural sites, the association community television Austria ( VCFÖ ), the Community Media Forum Europe ( CMFE ) and the training organization COMMIT.
