Fuat Uzkınay

Fuat Uzkınay (* 1888, † March 29, 1956 in Istanbul) was a Turkish cameraman and director. Uzkınay turned as Turkish reserve officer in 1914 the first film of the Turkish film history.

It was a documentary about the " collapse of the Russian Monuments". Ayastefanos'daki Rus Abidesinin Yıkılışı was shown publicly for the first time on 14 November 1914. Uzkınay was then still very active as a director and cinematographer in the early Turkish film industry.
