Functional Testing (manufacturing)

As a functional test (also called functional testing ) refers to the testing or control of a product or system against the functional requirements.

Not only its desired performance is tested, but often also carried out a cross-check - that tested the what not to work. The function test is usually performed as part of the integration testing or acceptance testing.
