Funen County

The County of Funen ( Fyn province ) was created in 1970 through the merger of the Office with the Odense Svendborg Office and included the islands belonging to Denmark Funen, Langeland, Ærø and some offshore islands. Capital was Odense. Since the municipal reform of 1 January 2007 the former Office is part of the Region Syddanmark.
