Funkmaster Flex

Funkmaster Flex ( * August 5, 1968 in New York, as Aston Taylor) is an American DJ and was as a radio presenter of the station Hot 97 (New York) and Power106 (Los Angeles ) is known.

Biography

Taylor is the son of a Jamaican dancehall DJs, through whom he came in contact with DJing. When he bought his first turntables at 16 years, he became an assistant to Chuck Chillout. After the radio show at Radio Kiss FM has been set, Taylor in 1987 received his own radio show. There, he hosted a half years before he moved to the station Hot97.

In 1995 he released three mixtapes of 60 Minutes Of Funk series. After the end of the contract with the label Loud, he joined the Def Jam over which the Club album, The Tunnel was released. The Tunnel is a collaboration with DJ big cap, which is a compilation of the same name in the trendy New York club songs.

Taylor then returned to the label Loud to continue the mixtape series 60 Minutes of Funk in 2000.
