Fuse (formerly MuchMusic USA) is an American television network and Madison Square Garden Networks and as such part of the Madison Square Garden, Inc., headquartered in New York City.

Program priorities of Fuse are music and musical themes. It shows exclusive interviews, live performances, series with music stars and music videos. It will be shown on the transmitter both known stars from the music scene, as well relatively unknown newcomer. Fuse is aimed at the target group of 18-34 year olds.

Originally limited to the transmitter Indie Rock, Alternative Rock, Heavy Metal and Punk Music, meanwhile, but also many other styles of music are represented.

History

1994-2001

Originally, the network part of Cablevision and CHUM Ltd.. and sent mostly the same programs as the Canadian station MuchMusic. After CHUM Limited sold half of the business to Cablevision, they purchased the trademark of MuchMusic through a license agreement.

2001-2003

In spring 2001, Cablevision began to send its own program under the name MuchMusic USA. Primarily, the program of music videos, short commercials and sometimes even the old Canadian music programs, which were reduced in December 2002 but on an hour a day was.

2003-2010
