Gabor Kallai

Gábor Kállai ( born February 21, 1959) is a Hungarian chess grandmaster, author, arbitrator and functionary.

Chess players

Kállai was awarded the Grandmaster title in 1995. With the Hungarian team, he traveled to the Chess Olympiad in 2001 as captain and in the second reserve board, but did not use. At the Chess Olympiad in Bled in 2002 he was the captain of the Hungarian national team; Hungary won silver. Kállai occupied top positions in several tournaments: III. Place GM tournament Ulaanbaatar (1984 ), III. Place Hungaroil tournament Siófok (1990 ) and II -III. Place GM tournament Balatonberény (1995).
