Gabriela Konevska-Trajkovska

Gabriela Konevska - Trajkovska ( Macedonian Габриела Конеска - Трајковска, born Gabriela Konevska; * May 29, 1971 in Skopje, † February 10, 2010 ibid ) was a Macedonian politician.

After studying law at the University of Skopje, she worked as a journalist at Macedonian TV from 1993 and later became chairman of the anti -corruption non-governmental organization Transparentnost. From 2006 to 2008 she was Deputy Prime Minister in the government of Nikola Gruevski and had the responsibility for the integration of Macedonia into the European Union.

She died after a serious illness at the age of 38 years. She left behind her husband, the director general of the Macedonian tax office Goran Trajkovski, as well as a three year old daughter.
