Gabriela Spanic
Gabriela Elena " Gaby " Španić Utrera, or in short: Gaby Španić ( born December 10, 1973 in Ortiz, Guarico, Venezuela ) is a Venezuelan actress and twin sister of model and fellow actress Daniela Španić, which was primarily known for her roles in telenovelas.
Life and career
Španić ' father, a native Croat, 1947 came with his parents to Venezuela; her mother is Venezuelan.
Španić ' career began with the beauty pageant Miss Venezuela 1992 as Miss Guárico. She began her studies in Psychology, but also pursued her acting career. The latter was given a big boost by important roles in major telenovelas, she played since mid-1990. In particular, La Usurpadora (1998 ) was a great success in Latin America.
Španić married Miguel de León. During this time she left Mexico for a telenovela on the side of Jose Angel Llamas. As rumors of an affair between her and Llamas were known, they separated. She got the title role in Doña Barbara, left the series but still in pre-production.
