Gać, Podkarpackie Voivodeship

Gać ( en. Gatz ) is a village in the municipality Gać, Circle Przeworsk ( powiat Przeworski ), Subcarpathian Voivodeship, in the far southeast of Poland.

Gać, Markova and Białoboki lie in a straight line extending from west to east trough which of the westernmost village of Markova ( German: Markhofgasse ), springing creek has incised with names Markowka in the fertile, deforested, 200-300 m high Lössland. In the direction of its course to the east to Mleczka ( German: Milchbach ) close to three more, but smaller villages Ostrow, Mikulice, Wolica, so that the Markówkatal is met by a 14 km long, composed of six villages, contiguous settlement chain.

To the east of district and village Markowa the settlement Gac joins. The parallelism in the appearance of the map image is so big that you can find the boundary between the two villages, which are combined in one political commune, only with difficulty. The district comprises 1212 acres Gac. So it is more than half less than the Markowas, but still exceeds the average of approximately 1,100 acres of all rural settlements between Wisłok and San Again, the share of arable land is 88 percent, and the rest are meadows and pastures, which extend mainly in valley floor, the width of far greater extent here than in the village of Markova.
