Gad Yaacobi

Gad Ja'akobi (Hebrew גד יעקבי; born January 18, 1935 in Kfar Vitkin in Netanya, † 27 August 2007) was an Israeli politician.

Policy

He was from the 7th to the 12th legislative period Knesset. From 1969-1991 he was a Member of the Knesset the HaMa'arach, from 1991-1992 he was a Member of the Knesset the Avodah, from 1974-1977 he was the Israeli Minister of Transport. In 1984, he was Israeli Minister of economic strategies, from 1986 to 1988 he was Minister of economic strategies, from 1987 to 1990 he was Minister of Communications and 1992-1996 he was the Israeli ambassador to the UN.

He has published 15 books, including two volumes of poetry and three children's books, and wrote articles for magazines.
