Gaëtan Englebert

Gaëtan Englebert ( born June 11, 1976 in Liège ) is a Belgian football player at the position of midfielder. After years in the Belgian and French professional football he settled in 2011 in the unterklassigen Belgian football leagues and plays since 2012 for the RFC Liege, his former youth club where he also managed the breakthrough in adult football.

Englebert started his career in 1986 in the youth of Villers l' Eveque JS until a year later he moved to the youth department of the RFC Liège. In 1995, he was pulled into the first team and graduated in the 1996/97 season 32 games in which he scored six goals. Then switched to VV St. Truiden. After two years, 66 games and four goals, he moved to league rivals and former runner-up FC Bruges. There he quickly rose to first-team regular and won with Bruges total of nine titles. After only one season with FC Metz, Englebert returned in the summer of 2011 back to Belgium and signed a 2 year contract in Division A for Coxyde VV.

National
