Gaius Bruttius Praesens was a Roman politician and senator of the 2nd century AD

Bruttius was a member of the patrician gens Bruttia from Lucania and was a son of Gaius Bruttius Praesens, who had been consul in 139 years. His full name was Lucius Fulvius Rusticus Gaius Bruttius Praesens Min ... Laberius Maximus Pompey Lucius Cornelius Proculus ... Valens ... Aquilius Veiento. The Agnomen Polyonymus is called only on his grave inscription.

Bruttius was Quaestor, held numerous priesthoods in the course of his life and has held 153 the consulate. In the campaign against the Sarmatians he comes to the future emperor Marcus Aurelius and Commodus; the latter he gave his daughter to wife Crispina Bruttia. In the year 180 he was again consul.
