Gajowice, Silesian Voivodeship
Gajowice ( German Giegowitz ) is an Upper Silesian village in the municipality Wielowieś, powiat Gliwice in Silesian Voivodeship in Poland. Gajowice has about 90 inhabitants.
History
Giegowitz was first mentioned in 1310.
From 1936 to 1945, the place was called the stone back. In 1945 Steinrück under Polish administration. In 1950 Gajowice of the Katowice Voivodeship Silesian Voivodeship to the new. In 1999, Gajowice the new Silesian Voivodeship and in the revived powiat Gliwice.
