The Gakona River is a 103 km long river in southern Alaska (USA).

He springs from the Gakona Glacier on the southern flank of the Alaska Range, flows south and empties in Gakona, 26 km north-east of Glennallen in the Copper River, which flows into the Gulf of Alaska.
