Geography
The municipality is bounded on the north by the mountain Sant Sadurní and on the south by a castle mound. It is located in a natural valley on the river Besòs. Gallifa bordered to the north Granera Castellterçol and Sant Quirze Safaja, on the west by Sant Llorenç Savall, in the south of Caldes de Montbui and east to Sant Feliu de Codines
History
The village has more than a thousand years of history. Testify four Romanesque chapels that still exist. Sant Pere, Sant Feliu and Santa Maria del Castell, as well as the remains of the medieval castle on the mountain Farell.
