Province

Gamba is a city in the province of Ogooué -Maritime in southwestern Gabon. With approximately 13,000 inhabitants ( 2010 calculation ) it is the second largest city of the province. It is located at the southern end of the Ndogo Lagoon. Southeast of the town is the Yenzi Lake. The most important economic factor is the oil well located near the city. The city has an airport.

Because of its remarkable natural diversity (biodiversity) Gamba and the nearby Loango National Park were a international tourist destination.
