Gambia Ports Authority

The Gambia Ports Authority (GPA ) (also abbreviated Gamport ) is the port authority in the West African nation of Gambia. The state-owned company is the operator of the seaport of Banjul and the operators of the ferries on the Gambia River. This service was established in 2001 by the Gambia Public Transport Corporation ( GPTC ) transferred to the GPA. The turnover of the company in 1972 created in 2005 was 378 million Dalasi for the fiscal year. The share capital of the company amounts to 16.3 million Dalasi.

Sports

The Gambia Ports Authority Football Club is also represented in the highest Gambian football class, the GFA League First Division. The championship they won five times already.
