Gantry Plaza State Park

Gantry Plaza State Park is situated in New York City State Park. The park is located on the west side of Queens ' on the East River and offers a good view on the opposite Manhattan.

History

The original ten -acre park, which opened in May 1998 and expanded to include six more in July 2009. The southern part of the park has been created from an old harbor area today are here several so-called " gantry cranes".
